Tater Tot Casserole!

Casseroles are so easy to make, a 'one dish' meal! so yummy!!

I can remember as a kid tater tot casserole was always so yummy!  It is one of Trevor's favorite meals as well, so it shows up in our house at least every other month....  It is one that is super cheap, and doesn't take much time to prepare.  You could even make this into a freezer meal if you wanted to save prep time day of.

So, how do we cut it down?  Well, Trevor and I are not much on left overs, so I usually try to have a two serving dish, and maybe a tiny more, just in case Trevor or I want seconds....

1/2 lb hamburger
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can green beans (you can do pretty much any veggie you want.  Trev's fave is green beans, so they find themselves in most my dishes.)
1/4 bag of tater tots (or less)
1 cup cheese
salt/pepper to taste

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Put burger in pan to brown.  Add cream of soup, salt/pepper and veggies and let simmer for 5 minutes.  spray casserole dish(I use 8x8 pans, or pie dish).  empty mixture into pan, top with tater tots.  cook 30 minutes, remove from oven and top with cheese, cook another 5-10 minutes and serve! :)

So yummy!  I usually line my pan with tin foil too, so it is an easy clean up! :)  Let me know if you try this, and if you like it?
